Julian is sole Director, a Quantity Surveyor , Project Manager, Husband & father. At 30, he formed Julian Church and Associates (JCA) Not in business just to make a living, Julian wants to create a world that cares. Community and sharing are integral to operations.
Julian started qualification & full time professional practice in London, studying day release at Southbank University. Moving to the south coast saw continued post qualification practice in Brighton before setting up JCA in 2001.
Day to to day activities are to process manage & participate to inspire success for clients in need of construction & fit out through documentation, communication, implementation & review. Julian will work in collaboration and partnership with teams he can construct or be introduced within, with shared values and a common goal to make it a positive environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing value, managing time, delivering process
- Overall company management and development
- Restaurant/ Cafe/ Bar fit out cost and management expert
- General construction Quantity Surveying and Project Management
Julian shares expert advice and experience of the hospitality sector fit out through a regular You Tube video series. A Level 3 qualified football coach, Julian has served as director of the local non-league football club, whilst also as a volunteer grassroots football coach.
Pastimes include walks with the family dog, trying to reduce his handicap at Real Tennis and watching Fulham FC, where he is a season ticket holder.
