Here’s an update on what’s been happening at Julian Church & Associates.
Welcoming Megan to the Team
We’re excited to introduce the newest member of the JCA family—Megan who is Julian’s daughter! After 8 years of working in customer service as cabin crew with easyJet, she has joined to provide office administration, supporting the day-to-day operations and keeping things running smoothly. It’s great to have her on board as we continue to evolve.
Getting Stuck into New and Existing Projects
It’s been great to get back on-site, supporting projects that make a real impact. Here are some highlights of what we’ve been working on:
- Queens College, Harley Street – Recently we provided the costings against a design from designers ‘Design By Two’ of the school canteen and break out space, who created zone-specific areas, allowing for flexible segregation and multifunctional use of spaces including activities beyond dining, such as events and workspaces, to accommodate various user needs. The development of the space also allows for potential future external revenue streams beyond just school use. Link to the LinkedIn post for this presenting the designs and plans can be found here
- Sussex Bay Fisherman’s Rotunda–We have been giving back to our local community working with Adur and Worthing Councils on a hub for the Worthing Fishing Community. The aim is to transform the tired, unused rotunda into a facility where Worthing’s independent commercial fishers can prepare, store and sell their locally-caught fish. The rotunda will host an ice-making machine, a cold storage facility, a community notice board and a sales area. We are looking forward to this opening and being in use in the Spring.
